CATERING
Have you ever planned a get together and just not felt like cooking for your guests? Or you weren’t even sure what to make? Why not fresh, handmade pizza?! The Roaming Oven can come to your location and make pizza right in front of your face! The secret is our propane fired, Big Horn outdoor pizza ovens that can cook a pizza at over 800 degrees in about 2 minutes. Our dough is hand made and contains water, flour, yeast, and salt. That’s it! Our main pizza sauce is canned, crushed Roma tomatoes, mixed with a blend of spices. No extras or preservatives. Simple and fresh.
PRICING
Most of our catering is done buffet style. You determine ahead of time how many guests you expect and what varieties of pizzas you want us to prepare, and we keep your serving table full of pizza for the length of your gathering. First, we charge a mobilization fee, which varies depending on how many pizzas we need to prepare. For up to 3 dozen pizzas the fee is $300 and we add $100 for every dozen pizzas after that. Then, we charge per pie, depending on the toppings you select. For example, for 11-12″ pies, a plain cheese pie is $9 and pepperoni is $10. We’ll work with you to get the right toppings menu for your guests and even take care of our own set up and tear down. Did I mention we also offer Panuozzo? Panuozzo is an Italian street food that basically is a sandwich made with pizza dough. The topping possibilities are limited only by your imagination and budget.
FOOD VENDOR
We also are licensed by the Commonwealth of PA to operate as a food truck. So, if you’re looking for a food vendor to set up and sell tasty, terrific pizzas at your carnival, fair, or other event, we can do that as well! There are no fees associated with this operation from The Roaming Oven (unless it is a private event, in which case the mobilization fee will apply) but we do understand some events will require a fee/donation for us to participate.
